A santoor string strums, a melody follows
Profound and lively
East and west moves hand in glove
Jazz wraps itself around springing pahari tunes
Creates a perfect jugalbandi
The tabla, the drums livid in each presence
Music wafts into my ear
Cycling full tilt through the kacchi gullies of anonymous places
Wind rakes in my hair, fluidity carries me through
Boundaries blur
A saxophone sets in - strangely tangled, unearthly beautiful
Percussion drifts in, makes it's space in the entanglement
I am lifted to another state of suspension
Honey meanders through gullies of my mind
The rhythm, the clank, cacophony of muffled voices interfuse
Creates an extraordinary musical journey
Out of my right mind
Something like a sense of 'Ah!'
