Sangeeta Dey (Roy)

HER EUPHORIC SOJOURN

On a lovely note that autumn day,
She ran after the butterflies ,
Chasing them in her wildest merry ,
In drunken stupor of ethereal bliss .

Dabbing colours ,
Yes, all the brilliant ones
Oh it must have caught,
The passersby eye
Who pronounced their maxims ,
That named all her vibrant
Sparkles “a coloury mess.”

She was protected by the lining of her dreamy womb.
To even let a slight touch
That zone.
She is on a voyage to exhilarating heaven ,
Which rains on her with golden drizzles .

She feels the bliss,
Of a Utopia in her heart, that
Emanates in all cosy warmth.
Lady Grace has always ,been generous ,
To keep the flame of nectar,
Alive ,in her being
Even as years add up ,
Adding digits to define ,
One aspect of her identity.

So ,on that flowery hill slope,
She runs after the butterflies,
Humming as she paints ,
With all the bright glow ,
Patterns ,
Which always meet with questionable ,confused eyes.

An unfathomable love
Drenched her being
That reverberated with a longing, for the splendour
Of romance in the ethos
Of the sky .
The rigidity of her boundaries, forgotten.
She stares spellbound at
Captivating sights,
The yonder unfolds
And envelopes her whole.

The misty air sang
It’s most lucrative melody.
None knows about her
Secret rendezvous with
The dreams,
That lovely autumn day.

And her inhibitions….She throws to the wind.
