I?
Often I wonder Who am I? What am I? Why am I? Am I the one that trod with squeaky innocent steps Analyzing the world in a fresh lens and interest Or am I the one that rolled on the dust Playing the heart out, unbothered yet happy soul, Or the one that grew up stifling the lamb inside Deep inside...deep enough to carve the Tyger up Regurgitating the earthly muses Devouring the mechanical existence Learning by hard the principles of the new-born century Fueling the soul by the digits of the digital Mediating the self by medias’ mendacity Catatonic relations and dysfunctional selves..... Counting the bundles on the 31st or 30th Sponging in the poison to cure the poisons Framing in rules stiff like a doll Lives are like the houses of doll Holding which the things fall apart Gyring revelations and procrastinations But the I slouches towards the I’s path
