Three Magic Balls
There are three magic balls
Hidden under my bed
“Use them wisely,”
The blue genie said.
One of them is silver
and the second one gold-
The third one changes from red to blue
When it is too cold.
One ball is for stopping time,
One is for speed
The third will solve all
Maths problems indeed!
I keep them safe,
Hidden from everyone
I will use them wisely,
Never only for fun!
Ghost in the Cabinet
I have a ghost in my cabinet
Its eyes are large and red
Its naughty, and always trying
To create a sense of dread.
Whenever I open the doors,
The ghost flings its arm
And shows its rickety teeth
As if about to harm.
But I know that there is no ghost
It is just in my mind
What I imagine, I see
With my fear combined.
So, when I see the ghost,
I take a deep breath and say,
“You are a damp squib
Just shut up and go away.”
