Poetry at the Heart of the Nation is in its 7th issue now. It has been a great journey of providing a platform for IPPL poets to see their poems published in a journal that is a kind of a flagship of the organization that gives them a sense of community and for some even a family. This 7th issue of IPPL’s journal has 21 poets contributing their poems and we also have one interview (of Prof. Navamalati Neog Chakraborty), two book reviews and two eclectic essays. The issue editors are Prof. Amita Ray, Dr. Amit Shankar Saha, Dr. Saptaparna Roy and Dr. Sreetanwi Chakraborty. We are thankful to all the Editorial Board members for their support and special thanks go to our Chief Editor Prof. Dr. Sanjukta Dasgupta for being our guiding light. We also thank all the contributors of this issue. We enjoyed reading your works. Thanks are also due to Subham Pati for providing the technical support in uploading the issue and also designing the cover of the issue.
