Lens of Positivity
After incessant patter of rains
The greenery around sprang back to life,
The birds trilled in full-throated ease,
The sky donned a bluish jacket,
The woollen balls of spun clouds
Surfaced once again,
Hovering over,
Hanging loose,
At one corner.
After the night of morbid blues,
Of pell-mell snorkeling
down the sea,
The diver came up dog-tired,
Sat on the beach, relaxed
over a cocktail with a
punch of lime,
And left again for
The lure of the unknown.
After the bickering last evening,
She was about to walk out
On her peevish hubby,
But reaching the threshold
She looked back in abandon
To spot a ball of Hope
Lying intertwined with Love
At the groove of her pillow.
